We operate the website zegwastudio.com and deliver AI-native web presence and front desk services to local appointment businesses, primarily in the United States, India and other English-speaking markets.

Business transfers. If Zegwa Studio is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to deliver our services and comply with legal obligations.

Audit requests: Retained for 12 months from the date of the audit
Client data: Retained for the duration of the engagement plus 3 years
Call recordings and transcripts: Retained for 12 months unless a longer period is required by law or agreed with the client
Website analytics (Google Analytics): Retained for 14 months

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it securely.

Zegwa Studio is incorporated in India and operates services primarily in the United States, India and other English-speaking markets. Your data is stored primarily in the United States (via our hosting providers), with some processing carried out in India (our operations) and in other regions where our service providers operate. Where we transfer data from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us immediately at privacy@zegwastudio.com.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000, the IT Rules 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Zegwa Studio (OPC) Private Limited has designated a Grievance Officer for data-related complaints and requests.

We will acknowledge your grievance within 72 hours and resolve it within 30 days of receipt.

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India once it becomes operational.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active clients by email. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
